I got this Clean and Clear Hint of Tint Cover and Correct Cream sample in a Superdrug order about month or so.
It's an oil free product and contains Salicylic Acid. They claim it "Instantly conceals spots, redness & marks with a breathable touch of coverage that lasts for up to 7 hours (clinical study, 22 women). Your skin is lightly hydrated and left looking clearer, smoother and healthier! Suitable for sensitive skin. Will not clog pores." (product description from Superdrug)
I'll just say now that I don't use tinted moisturiser a lot because no matter which ones I buy, the colour is either very orange and doesn't suit my pale skin or they don't cover well at all. If I do ever go for the tinted moisturiser, then I usually use my moisturiser and a foundation and mix them up together. Just because I know they'll be a better colour match and an okay cover for last minute make up.
I received the light shade sample. When I first saw the colour I automatically thought "oh god, another orange coloured one. One that won't suit my Wednesday Addams skin colour" But I was wrong. I used about half of the sample and applied it with my dampened Real Techniques Sponge. It covered most of my imperfections well, apart from a few angry red spots I've got right now. It did feel a little sticky for the first 10 minutes or so after application but then it dried fine and It did make my skin have a little healthy glow, which I always like. It didn't feel as if I had any product on. So I agree with the description that it's a breathable product. I like the fact that it has Salicylic Acid in it because right now my new favourite cleanser which is also from Superdrug contains Salicylic Acid and it's a miracle worker I swear. My skin has changed so much since I began using the product. So I feel using that cleanser and this as a tinted moisturiser or a BB cream would be a good match. It lasted from around 2pm until around 6pm and I was cleaning and tidying in most of that time, so I think it lasted really well. The price of this is £6.99 for 50ml. I do think it's a tad overpriced because the foundation I'm using right now is £7.99 and that's an medium/full cover product.
The Verdict:
I do like this product. I think if I was looking for a new tinted moisturiser/bb cream/primer then I'd definitely go and buy this. I do think it's a little pricey for the size of the product and the fact that its a very light coverage but I liked how it made my skin look more clearer and feel lightweight. If you're one of the luckier ones who have clear skin and don't need/want to use foundation then I'd definitely recommend this product. I think if I saw it on an good offer I'd buy it too.
