Because I have quite fair eyebrows, I struggle to find brow products that are right for me and I feel really self-conscious if I leave the house without my eyebrows on. I'll admit I'm not brilliant at doing my eyebrows and they usually look like a pair of sisters who've had a big argument lol. I'd rather use products which are fairly easy to use, drugstore prices and stay on for hours. So I bought/received these 3 products because they seem to pop up everywhere on blogs and YouTubers videos.
First up is the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper in the shade Dark Brunette. I'd bought this because I'd read many reviews saying how it was basically a dupe to the Benefit Gimme Brow (which I love!). So obviously because the price tag different between them both was around £12, I had to try it out.
I knew about this when I had seen the reviews, but the length of the brush is just huge, it's really hard to work with. I understand the size of the product means you get more product than the Benefit Gimme Brow which let's face it, is a total rip off for the amount of product you get. But to the people who say the Brow Artist is easy to work with... how?!
The other few reasons I really don't like this product is because I think it smells like cheap children's makeup. You know the smell of those lipsticks, which were basically just glitter and Vaseline together? It literally smells like that. Also no matter how many times I've tried to persevere with this product, I always find it leaves little clumps in my eyebrows and it's really annoying.

Next is the Soap and Glory Archery Pencil in shade Brownie Points*. If you've been following and reading my blog for a while now, then you'll know I usually love Soap and Glory products! I was very excited and thankful when I received the Eyes Makeup Set for Christmas last year (which contained the Supercat Eyeliner, Thick and Fast Collagen Mascara, Crazy Sexy Khol and Archery Brow Tint and Pencil) it was a great gift to receive and I was excited to try more of the Soap and Glory make up range.
I don't hate everything about this product, I do really like the pencil side of it and I understand when people say it's the next best thing to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, the shade I received in the Eyes Box is a tad too light but I can still work with it. But what I really don't like is the brow tint. It looks like an eyeliner pen! and it makes my eyebrow looks way too over the top and harsh looking. I just don't get it. Maybe I should try and use it as an eyeliner instead?

Finally is the Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil. Thankfully I didn't splurge on the full-size product and got the sample size in a magazine first. It's called Goof Proof but I find it so hard to work with! I mean I'll admit, I'm not great at doing my eyebrows. But this product is such an awkward shape and I find it to be so waxy and looks so unflattering when on. I've tried so many times to try to love it and it's just not doing it for me, sorry!
I thought I'd do this post instead of doing my usual reviews of things I've discovered and loved. Hope you don't hate me after writing this post and if I've mentioned one of your favourite brow products. I'm still yet to find my perfect brow product. If you have any recommendations then please do let me know in the comments!
* received as a gift at Christmas
I have the same problem with my brows and find it super frustrating when a large majority of the brow products I buy don't work for me!! I now use the Sleek brow kit which just about does the job ;)
