So I think this is either my 3rd or 4th blog post about wax melts in a few months. So yes, you could say I have a little bit of a wax melt obsession. Ria who represents Darceys Wax Melts wanted some bloggers to try out and review some of their wax melts and I was definitely not going to ignore the collaboration opportunity.
Darceys sell a huge range of wax melts with many lovely scents, so there's definitely going to be a wax melt scent for everyone. They also sell Soy Wax Candles, Perfumes, Oil Burners too. Ria chose the wax melts which I received in the package, I received - Thank You, Pink Sugar and Asian Pear & Lily.*
They all smell amazing! Strong but not overpowering scents.
Thank You - A mix of carnations, roses and tulips. A perfect scent for Spring! Also, would be a cute gift idea if you want to say "Thank You" to someone.
Pink Sugar - A blend of cotton candy, lemon drops, caramel and raspberry jam. Definitely my favourite out of the three! I love really sweet scents.
Asian Pear & Lily - Tops notes of pear, apple and greenery followed with middle notes of jasmine, lily of the valley and rose. Base notes of pear nectar musk and peony blossoms. Another lovely, fresh scent to have in your home during Spring/Summer.
The wax melts are £4.50 each for a box of 8 with a burning time of approximately 24 hours per box (4 hrs per melt) but I definitely think they last a little longer than 4 hours. They are not coloured as they want to keep the wax melts as natural as possible. All of the wax melts are square and imprinted with a cute heart and a D for Darceys.
Overall I really like these wax melts. They all smell lovely and they are really affordable. I think they'd be a great little present for a wax melt lover too. I have the "Thank You" wax melt burning away as I write this post and the whole of the upstairs in my house, smells as if I've just walked into a florist. Love it!
