How/Why I started my blog:
I started my blog back in Summer 2016. At the time I wasn't very well and I was signed off work for a few weeks (at my old job) I was really bored and struggling to sleep and I ended up reading a lot of blogs and watching Youtubers. After deciding on a name, I decided to start my own blog.
Advice to new bloggers:
Be yourself
As cliche as it is, copying someone is never a good thing to do. I'm quite sarcastic and say it how it is, so that's how I write. Do your own thing and you'll enjoy blogging a whole lot more. I have posted a few posts when I think I might offend someone and etc but at the end of the day, if someone doesn't like your blog, they don't have to follow you or read it.
Use Social Media (especially Twitter)
Promoting your blog on social media and getting involved in blog chats on twitter is a great opportunity to grow your blog, get to know other bloggers and potentially getting opportunities to work with brands. (I am going to do a little blog post about this soon) It doesn't matter if you're a newbie and you're worried that you only currently have a small amount of followers on your Twitter account compared to others, the majority of us bloggers will welcome you with open arms and get you involved in the twitter chats and read and comment your newest blog post. I only made a twitter account for my blog in December and I've already met so many lovely blogger friends and worked with some amazing brands. Instagram is another great place to promote your blog and show off your flatlays too.
