FrezyDerm kindly sent me some samples of their products to try out and review on my blog. (12 sample sachets in total to be exact!). FrezyDerm sells high quality products they are suitable for all skin types and ages. Here is what I thought about the sample products I was sent to try out.
Matte Effect Cream £17.50
"An oil-free mattifying and hydrating cream for oily and combination skin. It instantly absorbs excess oil, providing a matte appearance for up to 10 hours and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Provides an excellent foundation for make-up."
This does exactly as it says, it mattifies and gets rid of any excess oil. It's great to use as a moisturiser or can be used as a base for your makeup to improve its longevity. It also smells so nice, kind of a floral/fresh scent. Probably one of the nicest scented skincare product I've used. Even though this is more than I would usually spend on a moisturiser it's definitely one I'll keep in mind when I should want/need to buy another.
Ac-Norm Peeling Gel £11.99
"This exfoliating gel declogs pores and soothes acne afflicted skin. The exfoliating jojoba grains are encased in dissolvable plastic, preventing the skin from becoming scratched. The gel deeply cleanses, removing sebum and blackheads, while fighting the development of germs and acne. It's gentle texture refreshes and rejuvenates the skin."
I would say this is quite a gritty exfoliator/gel, it makes my skin feel really smooth and look radiant after using it and it smells really nice too. I am quite wary when trying out products which say "peeling" or "peel" in the name, just because I find 9/10 times they don't work for me and tend to break me out more. I literally only own one product which is a peeling gel that I have found works for me. But this has been really nice to use, if you like gritty exfoliators then you'll definitely love this. My skin does go a little red when I'm applying it in circular motions but I think that's just the product doing its job, as the redness goes away after a minute or two. I'm definitely going to pick one of these up soon!
Moisturising Cream £16.50
"A soft and refreshing cream for the face and neck. Enriched with herbal extracts and ceramides, these fast-acting active ingredients provide long-lasting hydration and boost collagen. The cream also protects the skin from premature ageing and provides antioxidant protection protecting its DNA. From the first use skin should begin to feel re-hydrated, soft and toned. The cream has a thin, non-oily texture making it easily absorb-able and a great base for make-up. It leaves no residue."
I think this moisturising is very light weight and great for oily skin. It's a great base for makeup and a little goes a long way whilst using it. It's very refreshing and my complexion has looked clearer whilst using this too.
Ac-Norm Total Control Cream £14.50
"Specialised cream for treating the symptoms of mild, moderate and severe acne. The formulation is enriched with natural extracts that mimic medical molecules and reduces acne and inflammation, without discolouration, photosensitivity or photo ageing. The unique formulation of acacia and salicylic acid reduces inflammation, fights acne-causing bacteria and regulates oil production resulting in irritation-free skin. While plant extracts provide a matte appearance, smooth the acne-prone skin’s texture and improve the appearance of cysts and scars. It can be used with for the time period in question without time restrictions."
So I've used this a few times after I've cleansed my face before going to bed and I'm very impressed. I didn't expect the cream to be a pale green in colour but it has definitely helped to reduce redness and calm down angry, hormonal spots. It's also left my complexion looking a lot more even after each use too (I don't know if that's maybe because the cream is a green colour because green cancels out redness?). I really like that it contains salicylic acid as it's something that I find really has helped with my skin as of lately. It also smells nice and doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all.
Overall I think these products are very good, my skin has definitely gotten a little clearer whilst using these. The Ac-Norm Peeling Gel is probably my favourite out of these products and I'll definitely be picking one up soon. I also really liked the Ac-Norm Total Cream and it definitely reduced any redness and made my complexion look clearer near enough straight away, which is really impressive.
Hope you enjoyed reading this post.
