5 Makeup Products For A Dewy, Healthy Look

I'm not usually into dewy makeup looks because as I may have mentioned before (only 59328 times...) I do have quite oily/combination skin and I feel like sometimes dewy skin can look really oily which is something I obviously want to avoid. But over the past month, I've found some products (some oldies and some new) that I really think give me a nice healthy look, so I thought I'd share what I've been using.

Collection Primed & Ready Primer Powered By Witch - £4.99
I've already mentioned this primer on my blog a few times already but it's still my go-to primer. It blurs out imperfections and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and ready for your foundation. It also cancels out any oily/shiny areas and adds a subtle glow to the cheeks but without going overboard. I love it. Obviously because of it being "Powered by Witch" it also helps to keep breakouts at the minimum too.

Seventeen Skin WOW Concealer - £4.99
This is supposedly a dupe of the YSL Touche Eclat Concealer but I can't say if it is or isn't as I've never tried the YSL concealer myself. But I love this Seventeen Concealer, It's like a pen and you have to "click" it to get your desired amount of product out. The concealer is quite thick but easy to blend in and is great for concealing dark under eye circles, it is okay for concealing spots but I would say it's better at brightening and concealing under the eyes. But it definitely does make your eyes look a lot more brighter and less like a zombie if you've had a rubbish nights sleep.

Benefit High Beam Highlighter - £21.50
Because my current favourite foundation (Revlon Colorstay) is very matte I decided to start using my High Beam (which has been sitting in my drawers for a couple months doing nothing) to add a little glow to my foundation when I want a more dewy look. I pop a pump or so of my foundation on the back of my hand and then do a "swipe" of high beam beside it and mix them together and it definitely adds something my foundation base without looking over the top. I currently use this for my everyday makeup look. But if you don't have High Beam or want to spend £21.50 on a highlighter then I've heard good things about the Seventeen Skin Wow Primer £5.99 which can be used as a highlighter too.

Essence Blush Play Sculpting Blush Palette - 10 Play It Peach* £4
I've been really loving this blush palette, it's definitely my go-to blush right now. I really like the "sculpting blush" for my dewy makeup look days. It is quite pigmented so I do apply with a careful hand but it just adds a pop of colour to my ghostly pale skin and it's a great travel friendly palette too. Also really like the highlighter in the palette too.

Collection Speedy Highlighter - Pearl Sheen £3.99
I'm not usually a cream/stick highlighter fan but I picked this up last year and it's still one of my favourites. It's like a champagne colour and compliments fair skin nicely, also it seems to last a while because I use the regularly and there's still so much product left which is obviously great for the price too. It's easy to build and stays put all day. If you're not a fan of cream highlighters (which I totally get) then I'd recommend trying the Freedom highlighters which are £3. I've got the Brighten one which is more of a light pink highlighter and it's really pretty and perfect for summer. Again, it's one that you can build up and can go from subtle to full on blinding glow with a few strokes. PS. There's also another highlighter which I've been loving but it's going to be featured in an upcoming blog post so keep an eye out for it.
