I'm sure by now you're sick of seeing and hearing about Glossier because everyone and their mum seems to be talking about it. I did know of the brand but didn't know a lot about them but after seeing and reading everyone talk about them when they became available to us in the UK, I was intrigued and decided to place my first order.
I really like the how cute and instagrammable the products are and I love that they are for us girls who don't like to wear tons of makeup and like the whole "no makeup" makeup look. I decided to pick up three products from Glossier - Cloud Paint in the shade Beam, Cloud Paint in the shade Dusk and also the Boy Brow in Brown. I also received a sample of the much talked about Milky Jelly Cleanser too which I'm purposely not trying out until I have some spare money floating about because I know if I love it, I'll want to get it asap.
Cloud Paints £15 each | I wasn't sure on these because they look quite vibrant in colour when they come out of the tube and I'm super pale, but I thought I'd give them a whirl anyway. I also decided to buy them because of the cute paint tube packaging, it definitely sold them to me more because as you may know, I'm a complete sucker for packaging. I decided to pick up the shades Dusk and Beam as I thought they were kind of the best shades to go for to compliment my pale skin. The formula is the same for both, it's very light and easy to blend and they are also quite sheer (thankfully). I like to apply a few small dots along my cheeks and then kind of tap in the product to blend out.
The shade Dusk is a peachy-bronze shade which looks very natural but can be build up a little if it's wanted. I really like it and I've worn it a number of times over the past few weeks. The shade Beam is quite an orange-toned shade which I'll be honest I'm not sure if it suits me really. I feel like when I apply it, it looks quite full on and vibrant but after a small dusting of translucent powder it looks more natural. I definitely prefer the Dusk shade but I'm going to keep hold of Beam for now because it may grow on me.
Boy Brow £15 I decided to pick the Boy Brow up in the shade Brown and I was so excited to try it out after the hype and the fact that I'd heard that it was basically the same and maybe even better than Benefit's Gimme Brow which I love but I think for the price, you get a tiny amount really so I like that this is a little cheaper and you get more product. I quite like a no fuss easy brow product because my brows rarely cooperate with me, so I don't like to make them look too bold. The best way to describe the formula is somewhere between a gel and pomade. It applies like a gel and then kind of dries down to a pomade and it's staying power is fab. It does feel a little waxy but it's bearable and it definitely thickens up my brows as well as obviously tinting them too. Because I have quite fair brows I feel that if I don't wear any brow product then I could look like I don't have any eyebrows, so this is a great throw on and go kind of product.
So there's my first ever Glossier haul. Do I think the products I picked up are worth it? YES! I've already got a few more of their products in mind which I really want to try out and add to my collection which I'll no doubt do a blog post about soon.
Have you tried anything from Glossier?
If so, what did you get and what do think about the product(s)?

So glad to hear that you found Glossier worth the hype! I love the name of the cloud paints, they sound adorable! A buildable blush is ideal for me because like you, I prefer a more subtle makeup look! The staying power of the brow product is fantastic as well, it's always good to know you can leave the house without worrying about your makeup!
