Burt's Bees are one of my favourite natural brands, they're totally cruelty-free and I just love the packaging of everything they release and there are so many unique scents. They have so many great gifts available for Christmas this year. Whether you fancy treating yourself or treating someone else, there's definitely something for everybody. I recently received two gorgeous gift sets from their Christmas range and today's post is kind of an unboxing and my thoughts about what's inside each gift set.
Naturally Gifted 2017 - £6.99*
A perfect gift or stocking filler for a loved one, The Naturally Gifted set comes in a cute keepsake tin which you can hang on your Christmas tree. Inside the tin, you receive two of the all-time bestsellers from Burt's Bees -
The Hand Salve is literally a lifesaver, my mum is also a huge fan of the hand salve because it's a great kind of barrier cream and perfect for any gardening or outdoor activity lover. It's really nourishing and it's also a nice size to just pop in your bag. I also really like that it contains Rosemary and Lavender so it smells gorgeous and it's quite an uplifting scent.
It also comes with the Beeswax Lipbalm with Vitamin E & Peppermint which I have used before. Again it contains all the good ingredients and really helps your lips to battle Winter time. I've also found because it contains Peppermint that it really wakes up your lips and gives them a very slight plumping effect.
Natural Indulgence Gift Set - £19.99*
I was really excited when I saw this because I haven't actually ever tried their Body Lotion containing Milk and Honey, the Coconut Foot Cream or the Hydrating Coconut and Pear Lipbalm before. I love that the gift set contains full sized products and there's a mixture of scents rather than just sticking to one scent like most gift sets from other brands.
The Milk and Honey Body Lotion (170g) is a really nice consistency, it's slightly on the thicker side and I can already tell it's going to become a new favourite. I really like the scent as it's quite comforting but fresh and you don't have to use a lot of product each time you use it either.
The Coconut Foot Cream (120g) has a quite unique consistency as it looks like a thick gel rather than a cream but I do like it. The scent is nice as it smells like an old-fashioned ointment containing coconut (in a good way!). It also contains Peppermint and Rosemary oils which banish any odour and instantly refresh the skin.
Lastly is the Hydrating Lip Balm containing Coconut and Pear and it's a new favourite! My usual go-to lip balm from Burt's Bees is the Pomegranate flavoured one. The Hydrating Lip Balm is even more hydrating than the other lip balms I've tried before - if that's even possible! It just melts into your lips and leaves them feeling lovely and soft. I really like to use Burt's Bees lip balms before using a matte lipstick because they really help to stop the lipstick feeling super dry.
~
I'm really looking forward to using all of these products together when I next have a full-on pamper evening (which is definitely needed asap!). You can pick up these Burt's Bees Gift Sets and other available ones from Superdrug, Boots, LookFantastic, Amazon and more.
