I bet you didn’t know that June 14th is actually Cucumber Day? Yes really, there’s a day dedicated to cucumbers! So because of that in today’s post I’ve teamed up with cruelty-free brand Yes To to talk about their soothing Cucumber range which is perfect for sensitive/oily/combination skin types like mine and which products from the range I enjoy using most.
First up is a recent discovery and definitely now a staple in my skincare and also in my household in general are the Yes To Cucumber Soothing Hypoallergenic Facial Wipes* which are organic, plastic-free (made with 100% cellulose) and are biogradable, compostable and renewable. They are great for taking off your makeup when you’re feeling a bit lazy or just refreshing your skin in the Summer heat whilst out and about. I love that they are available in travel-sized packs too and they also contain Aloe Vera to soothe and nourish the skin.
I’ve also been loving removing my makeup with the Calming Micellar Water* which is super easy to use because it has a nail varnish bottle-like pump on top and I just love the cute packaging and again it is available in a travel size bottle and the lid also locks so you don’t have to worry about any accidental spillages if travelling. After using the micellar water I’ve been using the Yes To Daily Gel Cleanser* as a second cleanse just to remove any remaining makeup or day-to-day skin pollution. It’s also a great cleanser to use first thing in the morning because it really wakes you up and makes you feel nice and refreshed and ready for the day. It’s definitely my current go-to cleanser and it just makes my skin look glowy and healthy.
Another product which really wakes you up first thing in the morning is the Eye Gel*. I can honestly say that it’s one of the best affordable eye gels I’ve used. It just makes me feel and look much more awake and refreshed and definitely helps to disguise the fact that I’m an night owl. You can also pop the Eye Gel in the fridge too!
For a quick pamper sesh I love a face mask that doesn’t take 15 minutes to set and then a further 10 minutes to completely remove, so the Calming Facial Mask* is a go-to as you only have to leave it on for 5 minutes and it doesn’t dry out my skin like some clay masks do. I also like the DIY Powder to Clay Mask because it’s just a bit of fun and has lots of good ingredients to promote calmer and clearer skin. If you’re not a fan of clay masks then Yes To also offer a range of other masks from their Paper Masks, Mud Mask and my current fave their Calming Sleeping Mask* which is perfect for an extra skin treat and because it’s so soothing it’s a great one to pop on if you’ve been out in the sun for a little too long too.
If you would like to try any of the products above or any products from their other ranges then you can buy Yes To in Superdrug, Boots, ASOS, LookFantastic and more.

Have you tried any products from Yes To before?
I'm not a fan of the powder masks but the rest of the range sounds so lovely!xx
