Getting My Feet Prepared For Summer With Magnitone's Well Heeled Pedicure System

-This post contains PR/gifted items, no paid content. All opinions are my own-
Around this time of the year I see a big difference in my feet as they start getting drier, particularly on and around the heel area and it drives me mad. It's so strange as you'd think it'd be more of a winter problem and not a spring/summer problem. Obviously as the weather gets warmer it means I'm more likely to wear sandals which obviously show off your feet more. Because of this I become very self conscious of my feet and I'm not a big fan of how they look at the best of times anyway because they're pretty chunky and wide. According to my mum I take after my nan on my dad's side because she had chunky, wide feet too which show no veins (thanks mum for clearing that one up!). Anyway I recently got the opportunity to try out Magnitone's Well Heeled Pedicure System RRP £25* and I couldn't wait for it to arrive so I could get cracking on my feet and see if it helps to get rid or improve the dry areas I suffer with around this time of the year.

The Magnitone Well Heeled Pedicure System* is priced at £25 which I think is a bargain! It contains the pedicure roller, 2x dome-shaped, micro-crystal roller heads (one regular and one extra-buff), a cleaning brush, 2x AA batteries and instructions. You can also choose from two different colour options - Pastel Pink and Pastel Green. As you can see from the photos I got the Pastel Pink one. With the pedicure roller being lightweight and only needing batteries it makes it super travel-friendly too.

I've found that it's does a good job on my feet and I can definitely see and feel a difference straight after I've used the roller. You use it on dry feet and it does tickle slightly but you get used to it the more times you use the device. The roller spins at over 2000 times per minute but I do feel like I personally have to use it for longer than it recommends to get better results. So instead of using it on an area for 3-4 seconds which is recommended in the instruction leaflet, I probably use it on the area for an extra 5-10 seconds or so and I prefer to use the extra-buff roller on my problem heel area too. It's one of the things when it's pretty gross to see what comes away but also kind of fascinating lol. It's like using one of those pore strips when you can see what crap comes out of your pores (if you know, you know).

After I've used the pedicure roller and cleaned it up with the cute little cleaning brush (which I'm not going to lie, I'm surprised I haven't lost it yet!) and I also run the roller (not device) under water to give it a clean. I pop everything away and then I moisturise my feet using the Soap & Glory Heel Genius foot cream which btw smells bloody amazing! After that I pop on some fluffy socks and leave them on for a few hours or overnight to get the maximum softening effect. I now try and do this once a week just to keep on top of it. I definitely think it's a good device to have if you feel you need something to get rid of dry skin on your feet or even if you feel you need to use something in between salon appointments. You can also save some money and do your own pedicure at home with the help of this device too. Since using the Magnitone Well Heeled I definitely feel a lot more confident about my feet but not confident enough to whack them out on my blog (yet anyway) but that's just my own insecurities about my feet haha. I also like that the replacement rollers are really affordable to buy at £12.50 and you get two in a pack and you have the choice to buy either the regular or the extra-buff rollers.

If you are interested in picking up the Magnitone Well Heeled Pedicure System or buying it as a gift for someone then it's available to buy on their website, Argos, Fragrance Direct, Feel Unique and Look Fantastic.
