A Mother's Day Gift Guide

-If a product is marked with an * then it was PR/Gifted to me. This post contains no paid content-
Mother's Day is just around the corner again and if you're stuck for ideas on what to buy for your mum, nan or any mother figure(s) in your life then hopefully this gift guide should help you out! Most of the things included are beauty related but I have also added in a couple of other ideas too.

I don't think you can really go wrong with buying your mum some new Slippers
and/or Pyjamas for Mother's Day. It's basically a fail-safe option really, isn't it? I tend to buy pyjamas from George at Asda usually as I find that they are nice quality and reasonably priced. I used to buy slippers for both myself and others from George at Asda too but they're sizing has been off lately so I've been buying slippers from either B&M for around £4-5 or Morrison's Nutmeg range for around £7-8 depending on the style you go for. The slippers featured in the photo are from B&M and were £3.99.

Sometimes if I'm stuck for ideas then I like to build a little Beauty/Self Care Hamper for my mum for mother's day. So here are a couple of things which you could add into a hamper if you decide to go down that route -

- Miss Patisserie Bath Bomb starting from £5
I used to love buying from LUSH but I just think they've gotten so expensive and the last couple of bath bombs I've bought from LUSH have been duds so I tend to shop elsewhere for bath bombs now. My fave place to buy them from is Miss Patisserie because there's a good array of options to choose from and they always look really pretty once they're in the bath. They've also just released a new array of products to they're already impressive line-up.

- Technic Reusable Makeup Remover Cloth RRP £2.49
My mum still uses face wipes to remove her makeup and it drives me up the wall. So I've decided to buy her a makeup remover cloth to try because she seems convinced that it won't work as well for her or it will disagree with her sensitive skin and I'm prepared to prove her wrong haha! So if you are trying to get someone to be more eco-friendly then this might be a good gift idea to add into a hamper.

- Dr.Paw Paw 2-in-1 Scrub and Nourish Lip Scrub and Original Balm RRP £8.95*
I love Dr. Paw Paw, their original balm is one of my all-time fave multi-use balms. The 2-in-1 pot is perfect for any mum on the go as it features a sugar scrub on the top and the original balm on the bottom which you can use as a normal daily balm or as a lip treatment overnight.

Featuring Happy Birthday!

Featuring Cabernet Sauvignon
- Wax Melts from Foxglove Fragrances*
I think candles or wax melts are always a good gift idea for someone no matter what the occasion and wax melts are the perfect size to pop in a self-care hamper. There's nothing nicer than settling down in the evening after a bubble bath with a nicely scented wax melt melting away. Foxglove Fragrances are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free and they sell so many different scents from Biscoff, Blue Lenor, Grape Soda Pop, Happy Birthday!, Hot Cocoa, Kreed and many, many more. They kindly sent me over five different wax melts to try (Blue Lenor*, Kreed*, Cabernet Sauvignon*, Strawberry Lily* and Happy Birthday!*) and I literally can't choose a favourite. They're highly scented but not in an overbearing way. I can't wait to try more scents from them once I've used up the ones I currently have! Prices start from £2.75.

- Beauty Laundrette Eau Yes! Body Mist RRP £3.66 (on intro offer)
Something else that I've recently discovered which I think would fit into a beauty/self-care hamper nicely is the Beauty Laundrette Eau Yes! Body Mist which is exclusively available from Superdrug. The best way to describe the scent is a fizzy fresh floral scent which I'll admit I wasn't expecting but I do really like it and I think it's a perfect spring scent.

Yardley London have also just added two more fragrances to their Flowerful range which I think would make a lovely Mother's Day gift. The two new fragrances are Exquisite Peony* which is described as a floral bouquet of freesia, rose, jasmine and peony with added citrus on a warm base of cedarwood and blonde woods and Opulent Rose* which is described a voluptuous bouquet of enchanting roses and fresh-cut stems with a touch of sensual carnation and a strong base of white musk, amber and patchouli and they are both gorgeous. I'm already a big fan of the Flowerful range because they are affordable and the scent sticks around all day. Any time I've worn the Elegant Iris scent which is also from the Flowerful range, I'm always asked what perfume I'm wearing (RRP £21).

Sanctuary have released some lovely limited edition gift sets and in this post, I'm talking about one in particular which is the Perfect Pamper Box RRP £20* which contents are worth just over £40 but you can buy it from Sainsbury's, Amazon, Look Fantastic and Very. It comes in a gorgeous well-presented box with 5 products inside. The products inside are - Body Scrub, Body Wash, Wet Skin Moisture Miracle, Liquid Gold Rose Radiance Elixir and Heel Balm. I think it's such a bargain and I know for a fact that a lot of mums would love this as a gift this Mother's Day. It really is the perfect pamper box!

Another lovely gift set that you could treat your mum to is the Tropic "A Walk on the Beach" Collection Gift Set RRP £24* which includes their Ocean Fizz Foot Soak, Polishing Foot Pebble and their Repairing Foot Remedy (which you use in that order). This would make a great gift for any mums who are on their feet a lot! I know for a fact my mum will love this gift set because she is always saying how much her feet ache so this trio will be nice for her to use after a long day. The products also smell really nice, it's one of those gift sets that you can smell before you open it (I think it's the foot pebble soap) and it really does have a fresh ocean-y scent. It also comes in a nicely presented box (pictured above).
