The first thing I just knew I had to pick up for my dad is the Cartwright & Butler Triple Chunk Chocolate Biscuits RRP £10*. He's a big fan of anything chocolate and I thought they sounded fab. I also like that they come in a tin because the tin can be reused for other things after the biscuits have been eaten. I also think the tin itself is really pretty.
I also decided to pick up the Harry Potter Heat Changing Marauder's Map Mug RRP £14* because we're all big fans of Harry Potter in our household and we always sit and watch them when Autumn/Winter comes around because they're the perfect kind of films to watch on a cosy winter evening. So I thought it would be a nice little nod to cosy winter evenings and obviously the fact we both like Harry Potter. I love that it says "Mischief Managed" at the bottom of the mug because once you've drunk all your tea/coffee, the mug will obviously cool down and go back to normal and won't be showing the map.
My dad has taken a liking to pottering around in the garden recently (I think because of the sunny weather we've had) and he's basically been spending time trying to bring any dead plants in the garden back to life lol (and he's somehow been managing it?!) as well as also repotting plants and planting new seeds. So I thought the Cactus Mix Grow Kit RRP £12* is something for him to do on a rainy day for it'll be nice to watch the cactuses grow in the house. I actually found the kit in the "Shop All Gifts" section and not in the Father's Day section.
For the card, I decided on the Only Fools and Horses Father's Day Card RRP £3.49* because we're all big fans of Only Fools in our house, we've actually been watching quite a lot of the classic episodes during lockdown to cheer us up because it's such an easy show to watch and some of the characters and what they get up to remind us of some of our family members which makes it extra funny because it's so relatable. So I thought the Only Fools and Horses card was ideal!
If you're stuck for ideas this Father's Day and/or finding it hard to deliver a Father's Day gift if they live far away or if you/they are self-isolating or shielding then I highly recommend Moonpig. The website is super easy to use and the gifts all have reviews and you can send both the gift(s) and card straight to the front door of your dad (or father figure) which makes life a bit easier. You can shop all the gifts in the Father's Day section here.
How will you be spending Father's Day this year? We'll probably be spending the day just chilling at home watching some of dad's favourite TV shows/films, spending time in the garden if the weather is nice and we might go for a little drive around the local countryside just to get out of the house for a little while too.
Some really cute ideas! Love the Harry Potter mug x
