What's Inside October's Roccabox? + A 20% Off Discount Code!

-If a product is marked with an * then it was PR/Gifted to me. This post contains no sponsored content-

This month's Roccabox was literally jam-packed full of products, to the point that I actually struggled to get all of the products in the shot for the photos in this post! The theme of October's box is AM-PM which I really like the idea of and it contained a good mixture of products from skincare, makeup, haircare and even a few snacks too. The contents in Octobers box is worth just over £80 so as always you really are getting a bargain as a monthly Roccabox is only £10 (+p&p) and I also have a code so that you can get 20% off your first box which is KIRSTY20!

First up is the "Hero Product" is this month's box which is the Mudmasky Blue Light Protection Mask RRP £44* which definitely piqued my interest as soon as I saw it as I have actually been looking into blue light protection for both my skin and my eyes recently and I'm planning on picking up (and maybe reviewing) some blue light protection glasses. It's described as sunblock for your smartphone and laptop and is the perfect replacement for your normal day cream (when you're not out in the sun). It also prevents premature skin ageing caused by HEV-light which is found in all types of screens. Obviously, I can't say whether this works or not because I've only been using it for a few weeks but if I review it as just a day cream, I do like it. It's on the lightweight side which is perfect for someone with an oily/combination skin like myself, it smells really fresh and clean and it's also cruelty-free too.

Next is the Grace and Stells Lavender Body Lotion RRP £4* which has a light lavender scent which I know a lot of people will like the sound of because sometimes lavender can be a bit overpowering. It kind of reminds me of a more subdued LUSH Sleepy Body Lotion. I've been using it before I get into bed as a hand lotion and I do think the calming scent has been helping to relax my mind a bit and it works great as a hand/body lotion as well. For £4 I would 100% pick this up again.

You also receive the Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner RRP £16* and I'll be honest, this one didn't excite me that much because I don't really use liquid eyeliner as I find it quite hard to apply and I have awkward eyelids basically so I have to apply it in a certain way and it's just more hassle than what it's worth haha. But if you do use liquid eyeliner then this does have really good reviews but I'll probably just pass it on to someone who I know will use it or I'll pop it in my next giveaway.

Something which did excite me when I saw it in the box was the Hairburst Volume & Growth Elixir RRP £8.99* as it's something I've been meaning to try for ages. I have actually tried a few products from Hairburst in the past and was pretty impressed so I had high hopes for the Volume & Growth Elixir too. I've only been using it for roughly two weeks so I can't say I've really seen any difference in terms of the length of my hair but I do think it helps to add volume and shine and it doesn't make my hair look or feel greasy even when spraying it directly into my roots after I've washed my hair. I think I need to try it for a longer period of time before I make up my mind whether it actually helps your hair to grow and reduces hair loss.

You also get a super cute Pumpkin Infused Sheet Mask from BeautyPro RRP £4.95* which is obviously very apt for this month. It's also biodegradable which I love because I have been reducing the number of sheet masks I've been using and trying to opt for more eco-friendly options. I haven't actually tried this sheet mask yet as I'm planning on having a super cosy self-care day soon and I'm saving it for then.

The last thing in terms of beauty is a little sample-sized sachet of Ole Henriksen's Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum which I think is just an added sample. I've been wanting to try some products from Ole Henriksen for ages but they're quite pricey so this was a nice surprise. It definitely gives your skin a little booster. I don't think I'd buy the full-size version but it was nice to try something from the brand.

And finally are the snacks in this month's box... You get two KIND Breakfast Bars RRP £1.99*. I don't know if everybody got the same or if there were different varieties but I got the Blueberry Almond Bars* which I actually gave me to my dad because I'm not a big fan of blueberries but he did say they were nice and I also received the Honey Roasted Nuts & Sea Salt Bar*. Unfortunately, I haven't got around to trying the Honey Roasted Nuts & Sea Salt Bar yet because I'm basically on a soft foods only diet right now thanks to my dodgy molar tooth that's causing me on/off discomfort and the fact that it's basically impossible to see a dentist right now thanks to COVID. However I am going to pluck up the courage and try and get a private check-up appointment in the next week or two and find out what's actually going on and what my options are, so hopefully, I'll be sorted out soon and be able to eat properly again lol!

Lastly is the Flawsome Drinks Sweet and Sour Apple RRP £1.50*. Flawsome Drinks use  "imperfect" fruits that don't make it to the supermarket shelves to help to reduce waste which I think is fab! I really liked the sweet and sour aspect to it and it was very refreshing too.

Is there anything in this month's box that you've tried before or like the sound of?
