YSL Black Opium EDP (90ml) RRP £108* is such a classic when it comes to fragrances and it would make a fab gift for any fragrance lover in your life this Christmas. It has a bold, captivating scent with top notes of Pear Accord & Mandarin Essence, heart notes of Vanilla, Orange Blossom & White Flowers and base notes of Black Coffee Accord, Cedarwood Essence, White Musk & Patchouli. I also love the bottle design for Black Opium, it’s so pretty and different from other perfumes, it’s perfect if your recipient likes a nice bottle to display on their dressing table.
I’ve been using silk hair scrunchies for probably around a year now and I definitely feel like my hair looks healthier than it did prior to using them as there’s less breakage and my hair is also easier to manage as it’s not as frizzy or as tangly as it was before. I’ve already talked about the Fenty Cookies N Clean Whipped Clay Face Mask RRP £25 in my previous gift guide which you can read here so I’ll keep this brief and just say that this is hands down one of the best skincare products I’ve picked up this year. It’s suitable for all skin types and it really gives your skin a deep clean without stripping your skin and making it feel dry thanks to the unique whipped clay formula.
Another face mask that I would recommend is the Florence by Mills Mind Glowing Peel-Off Mask RRP £20 because not only is it obviously satisfying to peel off, but you can literally see instant results after using it. My skin always looks fresher and more glowy after each use. It does contain Lavender Oil to help soothe your skin so it does smell quite strong (just a fyi!) but I would definitely repurchase it. It also contains Charcoal to help draw out dirt and impurities and also Witch hazel to help balance sebum and keep pores clean.
Next is the Soap and Glory Feely Smooth Body Duo Gift Set RRP £5 from Boots which contains two travel-sized products, which are the Scrub Of Your Life Body Scrub and The Righteous Butter Body Butter, both of which smell like their bestselling Original Pink scent. This gift set would make a great affordable gift for someone and you can’t go wrong with Soap and Glory, can you? They have lots of gifts available on Boots and the majority of them are included in the 3-for-2 offer which is great!
The Stila Gift of Light Liquid Eyeshadow Set RRP £26* would be perfect for any makeup fan in your life! It contains three travel-size versions of their bestselling liquid eyeshadows, all of which have different finishes. The shades included are Glisten & Glow in Kitten Kaleidoscope (my favourite), Glitter & Glow in Diamond Dust and Shimmer & Glow in Starlight. The Paul & Joe Lip Treatment Balm RRP £14* is available in two different designs, one is covered in teddy bears and the other, which is the one I have has a festive floral print. They also come in two different fragrances. The balm itself is not only super moisturising and smells like roses but it also has a hint of colour too. I highly recommend these as a treat to yourself or someone else because they’re really nice. Available from Sephora.
Pixi Glow Tonic starting from £10 is a staple in my skincare lineup as it cleanses, exfoliates and brightens the skin, you can even buy it in a special ornament box during the festive season which is available from ASOS and Harvey Nichols. It’s also suitable for all skin types, so if you’re looking for a stocking filler or something to pop in a Christmas hamper I would definitely recommend the travel-size Pixi Glow Tonic.
Another favourite of mine is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray starting from RRP £10* as it really does set your makeup in place no matter what skin type you have, what the weather is doing or what kind of makeup you’re wearing. It just works every time without fail. It really is a must-have for anyone who wears makeup and wants it to stay in place, I’m never without an Urban Decay Setting Spray in my makeup bag!
Lastly is the Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub (100g) RRP £6.95 and whilst it may be on the messier side to use, the Frank Body body scrubs are so effective and they target breakouts, scars and stretch marks. They’re also available in different options from Original, Coconut, Cacoa and more. You can use them all over your body and they’re cruelty-free and vegan too.
