Sundae Body Whipped Shower Foam in Pomegranate Fizz or Very Vanilla RRP £13 // Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil in Delight RRP £20 // Soak Sunday Bath and Body Oil in Midnight Storm RRP £14
First up is the cruelty-free and vegan-friendly Sundae Body Whipped Shower Foams that I’ve seen popping up on instagram. I’ll be honest, the fun squirty cream-like packaging is definitely what drew me in but I do really like a shower foam just as something different to use when I’m in the shower and I like that there is already quite a good selection in the range to choose from. I think if I do decide to pick one of these up then I’ll either opt for Pomegranate Fizz or Very Vanilla.
I’m still yet to try anything from Rare Beauty but I really like the look of their brand-new lip oils. I’m a sucker for a lip oil and the shade Delight looks like the perfect nude shade.
Soak Sunday are another brand that I stumbled across via Instagram and I really like the look of the products that they offer and the packaging is lovely too. Their Bath and Body Oil in Midnight Storm which contains Ginger, Basil and Jojoba Oil sounds lovely and I like that it can be used in two different ways.
Glossier Ultralip in Lucite RRP £14 // Benefit The Porefessional Deep Retreat Clay Mask 75ml RRP £35 // Byoma Brightening Serum 30ml RRP £12.99
I haven’t bought anything new from Glossier for a while as I tend to just repurchase my faves but I’m quite intrigued about their Ultralip lipsticks which they describe as having the moisture of a balm, sheen of a gloss and the buildable colour of a lip tint which sounds right up my street! There’s also a good selection of shades to choose from.
Benefit added some skincare products to their much loved POREfessional range and I’m actually interested in the whole range so I thought I’d add the Benefit The Porefessional Deep Retreat Clay Mask to my Wishlist just to reference my interest in the range. The Deep Retreat Clay Mask contains mineral-rich Kaolin Clay, Sea Fennel extract, Bisabolol, Jojoba Oil and Plum Kernel Oil, Prickly Pear Flower extract and Sphingolipids.
Another brand that I’ve been meaning to try a couple of products from for a little while is Byoma. I like the brand’s colourful packaging and the fact their products are at a good price point. Their Brightening Serum is infused with their unique barrier-boosting Tri-Ceramide Complex (ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids), Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid which sounds ideal for a combination skin type. The serum can also be used daily too.
& Other Stories Body Soufflé in Miami Muse RRP £11 // Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Happy RRP £22 // Fenty Skin Melt Awf Jelly Oil Make-Up Melting Cleanser 100ml RRP £25
I definitely don’t need any more body moisturisers as I already have quite a few, however, I do like the sound of the & Other Stories Body Soufflé in Miami Muse as its scent sounds like something I would love. The scent is described as ‘Sprinkles of pink pepper falling over cotton candy swept in musks’ and I usually love perfumes that contain pink pepper and who doesn’t love the smell of cotton candy?!
Another Rare Beauty product that I’ve got my eyes on is their Soft Pinch Liquid Blush because they look really nice, you apparently only need a tiny amount per use and you can also mix and match with other shades in the range too.
Fenty have added another skincare product to their ever-growing range and they’ve released the Fenty Skin Melt Awf Jelly Oil Make-Up Melting Cleanser. I’m a big fan of jelly-to-oil cleansers so this is another product that sounds right up my street. It also comes in a pump bottle and contains a custom blend of 9 luxe oils that will erase everything from makeup, dirt, sunscreen and other impurities.
Umberto Giannini Smooth Juice Super Smooth Conditioning Water RRP £9.95 // Barry M Fresh Face Perfectly Concealer RRP £5 // LUSH Best of Shower Gels Set £23
I really Umberto Giannini hair products and their Smooth Juice Super Smooth Conditioning Water from their new Conditioning Water range sounds interesting. You use it after shampooing in place of your regular conditioner and it’s also suitable for all hair types. It reminds me of the L'Oreal Wonder Water range that everyone was going crazy about a few years ago.
Now I’m getting older (I’m literally 29 in a matter of days when I’m writing this, sigh. lol) I’m definitely noticing that I’m having to use slightly more hydrating products when it comes to makeup and I also prefer a more glowy minimal look over a matte finish. I feel like it just makes my skin look fresher and more awake. Anyway the Barry M Fresh Face Perfectly Concealer contains hyaluronic acid for a burst of hydration and has a radiant finish and for the price it sounds fab!
Lastly is the LUSH Best of Shower Gels Set which is available on ASOS but it does go out of stock often. It contains a 100g bottle of Rose Jam, 110g bottle of Sleepy and a 130g tub of Rub Rub Rub. I’ve already tried all of the products before but I think it works out at a small saving if you have free delivery. Especially if you usually shop online at LUSH like me and have to pay for delivery usually.
