First up is the new Tresemme Beauty-Full Strength range that I’m currently obsessed with. I have the Tresemme Beauty-Full Strength Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in Conditioner and my hair definitely looks and feels thicker and healthier than it did prior to using the range. The products are formulated with ProPlex Fortifiant which strengthens and reinforces hair fibres by getting deep into the hair cuticles. The results? Stronger hair and less breakage which also means less hair on your hairbrush after brushing. I really like the scent of the products as well, to me, it’s kind of a mild coconut scent. The whole range tends to be on offer a lot at Superdrug or Boots on either BOGOF or 2 for £7 which is a steal.
I’ve been using the Matrix Miracle Creator 20 Multi-Tasking Treatment RRP £14.50 for a couple of years now after I discovered it via Influenster when they sent some Matrix products over to me to try out and review and I’ve had it in my hair care line up ever since. It works in many different ways as it detangles, primes your hair for styling, prevents breakages, protects your hair from heated tools and tames frizz. A little goes a long way with this product and if you use too much, it can make your hair look greasy so you do have to be careful. It also smells pleasant but not in an overpowering kind of way, it just smells kind of clean and slightly floral.
The Living Proof Triple Bond Complex RRP £42 is another product that I discovered via a gifted campaign and it’s designed to be used as a weekly treatment. It’s formulated with 3D Fortifying Technology and the patent-pending complex works to intensely nourish dry and brittle strands to help promote smoother-looking hair. It contains a blend of peptides and lipids that help to instantly condition and soften the hair to encourage effortless and comfortable styling. I really like this product, I only use 2-3 pumps on towel-dried hair and I feel like after you’ve used it for a couple of weeks in a row, you definitely start seeing some changes, my hair looks less dry on the ends and overall less frizzy, even if I let my hair air dry. It is one of those products that you have to be consistent with though.
Schwarzkopf got2b Oil-Licious Tame and Shine Styling Oil RRP £5.50 is one of my all-time favourite products. First of all, it smells amazing, the best way to describe it is a tropical summer scent and the scent also lingers in your hair. You can use the oil on damp hair as a pre-styling treatment or you can apply it to dry hair as a finishing touch and it leaves your hair looking shiny and feeling super smooth. It also has a lightweight formula so it’s ideal if you have quite fine hair.
I picked up the Boots Everyday Blossom Dry Shampoo RRP £1.60 when my usual go-to Batiste Dry Shampoo scents were both out of stock and I’ve got to say, the Boots Everyday Dry Shampoo is just as good as the Batiste Dry Shampoo and I really like the Blossom scent. They’re also a couple pounds cheaper than Batiste but I tend to buy Batiste when it’s on offer anyway.
I’ve also been using the Lee Stafford Grow Strong & Long Activation Treatment RRP £9.99 recently. It contains a unique blend of plant-based Lupine Seeds and proteins, which are essential for hair health and building stronger strands. It also contains Fresh Apple and Lemon extracts which are known to add shine and Green Tea Extracts which is known to protect from heat damage and breakage. I’ve not been using it for very long and I only use it once a week so I haven’t seen any massive changes yet but it’s a nice hair mask, it makes my hair lovely and soft and it smells really nice, it’s the same scent as the Keep It Clean range which I loved (I’m still annoyed that they discontinued that range lol).
