First up the Treaclemoon Frosted Candy Angel Shower and Bath Gel RRP £1.99 which is an obvious dupe to the LUSH Snow Fairy Shower Gel and scent range. The 500ml bottle costs just £1.99 at Boots which works out a lot cheaper than the 550g Snow Fairy bottle which comes in at £27 (or £7 for the small 100g bottle). The Treaclemoon Frosted Candy Angel Shower and Bath Gel also leaves your skin feeling soft which is an added bonus because the LUSH Snow Fairy also leaves your skin feeling really soft after using it. Treaclemoon also have other Shower and Bath Gels that seem to be dupes to other known brands and scent ranges. I know there is also a dupe of the Sol de Janerio Brazilian Bum Bum Cream that everyone seems to rave about. You can buy their products from Boots, Tesco and on their website.
The Collection Gorgeous Glow Filter Finish RRP £7.99 is very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter but comes in at a fraction of the cost as the high end version comes in at £39. If I was planning on treating myself to something from Charlotte Tilbury then I’d personally rather buy a new lipstick or blusher. The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter does have a lot more shades to choose from and it is glowier but the Collection Gorgeous Glow Filter Finish does give you a good amount glow and it can be worn in the exact same way as the Charlotte Tilbury offering as you can wear it either on its own, as a primer, mixed with your foundation or as a highlighter.
The Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Foundation RRP £13.99* is a multi-tasking 3-in-1 Foundation, Primer and Concealer hybrid which offers a medium coverage with an airbrushed matte finish. It’s also vegan and contains SPF 20. People have claimed that it is a dupe to the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation which comes in at £39.50 and I can see where they are coming from. It blends in easily using either a brush or sponge and your skin still feels like it can still breathe (I personally think the Max Factor offering is more comfortable on the skin). The medium coverage is noticeable as soon as you apply it and you only need 2-3 pumps to do your whole face. However I do feel like it clings to any dry patches a little as well as the pores on my nose, however, I find that with the majority of matte finish foundations and it’s the reason why I’ve been opting for more dewy/fresh foundations or tinted creams. You can see a swatch of the lightest shade C10 Fair Porcelain and a photo of me wearing the Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Foundation on my Instagram post. Overall it is a nice foundation and I can make it work better for my skin if I use a smoothing primer under the foundation and it’s less than half the price of the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation that I know a lot of people love.
