My post about 4 Games Coming To The Nintendo Switch That I’m Looking Forward To Playing did really well, which was quite unexpected considering my blog is mostly focused on beauty content. So I’m back with another post about gaming but this I’m talking about 4 games that are on my Nintendo Switch wishlist and also the reasons why I haven’t picked them up just yet.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time
First up is Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time which released on the Switch in 2021 and I’ll be honest I’ve almost picked it up a number of times as I’m a big fan of the Crash Bandicoot game franchise and platform games in general. The only reason I haven’t picked it up yet is because I already have quite a few platform games that I’ve raged quit because I've got stuck on a level and not picked up again lol. So I want to try and complete one of the games I’m stuck on such as Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze or Super Mario Bros.U Deluxe first. If you are looking for a platform game then I would recommend either the Crash Bandicoot N’Sane Trilogy or Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time but be warned, they are quite difficult. But they are fun and they’re also cheaper than other known platform games and franchises.
Lemon Cake
In Lemon Cake you restore an old bakery with help from a ghostly friend and you repair, furnish and decorate every room in the bakery as you progress whilst running the bakery. You can gather honey for your beehive, raise a cow for its fresh milk and adopt chickens for their eggs for your recipes. You’ll also be able to grow trees and plants to harvest a variety of fruits. You also have to make sure you serve your customers quickly and keep your window display well stocked so you don’t miss an an order. It just looks like a cute, cosy game to play when you want to relax. It has nice graphics as well but it’s definitely one that I’m waiting for a sale on as it’s still £26.99 on the eShop which seems quite steep for this genre of game in my opinion.
A Little To The Left
A Little To The Left is a puzzle game where you sort, stack, and organize household items into pleasing arrangements while you keep an eye out for a mischievous cat with an inclination for chaos. There are 75+ satisfying ‘messes’ to tidy and there are multiple ways to complete each puzzle so you can replay the game after you’ve completed it the first time. I just think it looks like a nice game to play when you’re winding down of an evening. There’s also paid DLC available too.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Last on my list is Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker which has many sandbox-style puzzles to complete including a few Super Mario Odyssey levels. In each level you have to try and collect all the collectibles before you move onto the next level. Captain Toad can’t jump like other characters from the Super Mario series so you have to try to figure out how to get from one place to another without jumping. The more collectibles you collect, the higher the score. It’s pretty simple but if you’re a fan of puzzles then you’ll like it. There’s also a free demo available. The only reason I haven’t picked it up yet is because it’s quite a short game (around 7 hours to complete the main objectives) so I’m hoping to catch it in a sale at some point.
