My Nivea Summer Essentials Picks

I wanted to share my go-to products from Nivea which I use in the summertime. From SPFs, lip care, body moisturiser, and my favourite sheet face mask. If you’re looking for affordable skin and body care, I genuinely can’t recommend Nivea enough as their products always seem to do the job well, they also smell nice and are easy to pick up in your local supermarket, beauty drugstores or online.

Nivea are my go-to brand when it comes to sun lotion. I like that they offer a variety of options from the Protect & Moisture Sun Lotion RRP £7.90*, the Protect & Moisture Pump Spray RRP £7.90* and the Protect & Dry Touch Pump Spray RRP £7. You can buy them in different levels of SPF, although I personally try to opt for at least SPF 30 and you can pick and choose whichever you prefer. They all smell the same but obviously, two are easier to apply with them being in a spray bottle. I don’t really have a preference as I like all of them.

Their After Sun Moisture Spray RRP £5.49* is also handy to have in just in case you've caught the sun and need to cool your skin down a little.

I’m also a big fan of the Nivea facial SPFs and there are quite a few to choose from. My favourite is the UV Face Soothing Sensitive Sun Cream SPF 50+ RRP £9.99 with the Luminous 630 Anti-Dark Spot Day Cream Face Moisturiser SPF50 RRP £26.99* as a close second favourite. They’ve also recently launched the UV Face Specialist Derma Skin Clear SPF 50+ RRP £14.50* which contains Niacinamide and is made for blemish-prone skin. It’s quite similar to a more expensive brand as it has a lightweight non-sticky fluid formula which is great if you struggle with clogged pores or don’t like heavy creams.

If you’re looking for a hydrating lip product, I would recommend the Nivea Lip Oils RRP £5.49* which are available in four different shades: Candy Pink, Clear Glow, Rose and Pink Rock. They work well for minimal makeup looks, they’re hydrating and not sticky like some oils can be. They also still feel quite balmy even though it’s an oil product.

Another product I like particularly during the summer is the Q10 Energy Instant Recharge Face Sheet Mask RRP £3.99. It’s infused with Q10 and Vitamin C and has brightening properties. I tend to pop it in the fridge for 10 minutes before applying and I do feel like it leaves my skin looking less tired and fresher. It's a good quick fix.

The Nivea Soft Moisturiser RRP £6.29* (200ml) has been a favourite of mine and my family for literally years. It can be used on your face, body and hands and you can either buy it in a 200ml or 500ml pot or in a 75ml tube so you can pop it in your bag when you're on the go. I use it mostly as a hand cream and also as body moisturiser, it unfortunately doesn't work well for me as a facial moisturiser but everyone's skin is obviously different and I do have more of an oilier skin type.
