Because we ended up putting up our Christmas decorations literally the week before Christmas last year as we had a lot going on at the time, we’ve decided that we’re going to put our Christmas decorations up a little bit earlier than usual this year to make up for it. So because of this, I’ve obviously been online window shopping looking for some new cosy Christmas homeware to add throughout the house. I thought I would share some of my favourite finds, some of which I’ve already snapped up because I couldn’t resist.
George at Asda have got a number of Christmas bedding sets available but I think the Christmas Santa Checked Brushed Cotton Reversible Duvet Set is my favourite. I love the mixture of the check print and Santa print and looks more expensive than it is. I do find that George at Asda’s bedding sets are good quality.
If we hadn’t already bought a new Christmas doormat for this year then I would’ve definitely picked up the Argos Home Half Moon Christmas Doormat because it’s super cute and also really affordable too.
I also think the Dunelm Catherine Lansfield Santa 3D Cushion is really sweet and would work well in either a living room, bedroom or even a children's playroom.
The George at Asda White Christmas Tree Dinner Plates - Pack of 4 RRP £10 might have a simple design but I think they look really nice and they seem to be popular as they keep going out of stock both online and in-store.
The Dunelm Nordic Noel House Rectangle Cushion RRP £20 would suit most homes because of the neutral colouring and I just love the textured design. I do think £20 is a little steep, especially for a seasonal cushion but I can understand why at the same time.
If you're looking for something more colourful then the George at Asda Christmas Pom-Pom Garland RRP £5 is eye-catching and fun. You could even use it after Christmas if you have a bright coloured theme in your home or maybe in a child’s bedroom or playroom.
I think the Matalan Catherine Lansfield Christmas Jolly Jumpers Cosy Fleece Blanket Throw (130x170cm) RRP £10 looks more expensive than it is. It’s giving kind of Cath Kidston vibes in my eyes, anyone else? It is an online exclusive so you do have to pay p&p but I had to pick it up for my bedroom. It’s just so cute and it looks so soft as well, although let’s face it, my cat will probably claim it as soon as it arrives haha.
I also bought the George at Asda Gingerbread House Shaped Earthenware Mug RRP £3.50 because they are such a good size for hot chocolate with all the extras and they’re also a bargain for £3.50. There are other chunky mugs available such as a Snowman, Santa, Nutcracker and more.
Lastly is the Home Bargains Home Collections Christmas Tree Bamboo Serving Board RRP £6.99 which is approx 45 x 30cm and can be used as a serving board, chopping board or even as decor in your kitchen this Christmas. It’s definitely the cheapest Christmas tree shaped serving/chopping board I’ve seen this year.
