A Christmas Gift Guide

I wasn’t going to do any Christmas gift guides on my blog this year but it seemed weird not doing any at all so I’ve decided to just do one kind of round-up gift guide and I’ve tried to include a variety of gift ideas for different age groups and also different price ranges too.

Superdrug Fruity Body Mist Trio RRP £5 // George at Asda Cream Space Dye Knitted Flip Mittens RRP £7 // Valve Steam Deck 512GB RRP £550

First up is the Superdrug Fruity Body Mist Trio RRP £5 which I actually picked up for myself recently. It contains 3x 100ml body mists which are Vanilla Ice Cream, Candy Floss and Caramel & Pistachio. There are two dupes in the set as Candy Floss smells exactly like LUSH Snow Fairy and Caramel & Pistachio smells like the viral Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream or number 62. They last pretty well and are a great size to pop in your bag so for the price it’s a steal!

Next up is the George at Asda Cream Space Dye Knitted Flip Mittens RRP £7 which I think are just so cute. There are other colours available as well and they’re obviously handy if you still want to use your phone but keep your hands warm. I know you can get touchscreen gloves but I always find them a bit hit and miss.

I usually include a Nintendo Switch in my Christmas gift guides because they’re great for all ages and have a good variety of games available but this year I’ve changed things up and decided to include the Valve Steam Deck 512GB RRP £550. It’s basically like a handheld computer which runs games from Steam. It says it’s suitable for children 13+ as it’s a little more complicated to set up and use but you can get a massive variety of games and Steam also does good sales throughout the year. You do have to make sure games are compatible with the system before buying them but I think it runs most games and you can find lots of thorough reviews via Google and YouTube.

Baylis & Harding Beauticology Candy Beauty Bus Gift Set RRP £12 // The Works Make Your Own Resin Coasters Set RRP £7 // Hirameki: Draw What You See Book RRP £10

The Baylis & Harding Beauticology Candy Beauty Bus Gift Set RRP £12 contains a mixture of popular sweet scents from the brand and comes in cute packaging. I know it’s supposed to be for kids but the Unicorn Candy scent smells really nice, it reminds me of something from LUSH.

I love craft kits from The Works and I thought The Works Make Your Own Resin Coasters Set RRP £7 sounds like a lovely adult craft kit and it’s also super affordable too.

Another creative gift is the Hirameki: Draw What You See Book RRP £10 which would suit both kids or grown ups. I’ve never heard of Hirameki before but I’m definitely intrigued to give it a go.

WINTHOME Hoodie Blanket from TikTok shop RRP £35.98 // ASOS Bath and Body Best Bits Stocking Filler RRP £12 // Tamagotchi Original RRP £19.99

The WINTHOME Hoodie Blanket from TikTok Shop RRP £35.98 was probably one of my favourite things that I bought last year. They're super cosy and keep you warm when the weather gets colder. They’re oversized and also suitable for plus-sized people and there are different colours and patterns to choose from. I own the pink with red love hearts print and the grey with white stars print. I can’t recommend them enough if you want to buy someone a warm and cosy gift this Christmas. They’re always on sale as well so even though the RRP is £35. They’re usually around £18-25.

I thought the ASOS Bath and Body Best Bits Stocking Filler RRP £12 has a nice array of products from known brands inside. It includes Rituals Ritual of Ayurveda Balancing Body Cream (70ml), LUSH Sticky Dates Shower Gel (125g) and OUAI Detox Shampoo (30ml). It’s definitely cheaper than buying them separately and it could be a nice way to introduce some brands to someone too.

Next up is a Tamagotchi Original RRP £19.99 which let’s face it could be suitable for both kids and adults who want a bit of nostalgia. Tamagotchi’s are definitely back ‘in’ and I just thought it’d make a fun gift for someone and there are lots of different ones to choose from.

Benefit Soup’d Up Beauty Gift Set RRP £46 // Modelling Air Dry Clay Kit RRP £16.99 // Glossier You EDP RRP £62

The Benefit Soup’d Up Beauty Gift Set RRP £46 contains Hoola Bronzer, BADgal BANG! Mascara and Benetint and the products inside are worth over £60. I really like the fun food and drink-related gift set packaging from Benefit this year and I’m really tempted to pick up this set myself.

This is another gift idea that’s technically aimed at children but could be for anyone. The Modelling Air Dry Clay Kit RRP £16.99 from Amazon is a great kit for someone who wants to get creative and make things.

Lastly is Glossier You 50ml EDP RRP £62 which is a unisex fragrance and just smells lovely. It apparently smells slightly different on everyone but it’s one of my personal favourites and I always get compliments whenever I wear it. It contains notes of pink pepper, iris and has a warm, slightly sweet base. To me it smells like a kind of clean, warm and comforting scent.
