What To Buy a Tween or Teen Girl For Their Birthday

-AD: This post is in collaboration-

I'm sharing some birthday gift ideas for tween and teen girls in today's post. Shopping for this age group can be challenging, so I've curated a variety of options, including beautiful jewellery from Sparkle - Jewellery for Teens, skincare products suitable for tween or teenage skin as well as some fun craft and hobby kits and more.

Sterling Silver Heart Huggie Hoop Earrings RRP £22 // White Lucky Clover Bracelet RRP £18 // Sweet Daisy Sterling Silver Stud Earrings RRP £22

Jewellery is my first recommendation as I vividly remember getting my ears pierced as a pre-teen and using my pocket money or any birthday and Christmas money to buy more earrings and other jewellery. As I grew up, my jewellery collection expanded and it’s nice that I have memories attached to some of the jewellery I own from when I was younger. Sparkle - Jewellery For Teens offers a beautiful selection designed specifically for tweens and teens. They have a variety of pieces, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and jewellery sets. All of their silver earrings are hypoallergenic, and they even have fidget spinner rings which can help alleviate anxiety. They also offer free delivery and free gift wrap.

Nintendo Switch OLED RRP £279 // Superdrug Tea Tree Face Wash RRP £3.49 // Instax Mini 12 Mini Camera RRP £74.99

If you’re looking to buy a game console then I still recommend a Nintendo Switch over any other console right now. Particularly a Nintendo Switch OLED RRP £279 as they can be used in handheld mode and on the TV, there are lots of great games available which are only available on the Switch and there are always good sales on their eShop as well.

I think putting together a small skincare hamper would be a nice gift. Tweens and teens don’t need an expansive routine and they also don’t need super expensive products either. I personally would say stick to the more affordable brands such as Simple, Garnier and Nivea. I always recommend the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1, Superdrug Tea Tree Face Wash for spot-prone, hormonal skin and Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser.

The Instax Mini 12 Mini Camera RRP £74.99 would be a lovely gift to help capture memories and have the photos in physical form which just seems such a distant memory these days, doesn’t it?

The Works Craft Your Own Soap Kit RRP £7 //  LEGO Heart Ornament RRP £10.99 // Sculptd Pottery Starter Kit RRP £39

Craft and Hobby Kits are a great gift, particularly if you know that the tween or teen you’re buying for is quite creative or wants to be more creative. You could buy Soap Making kits, Candle Making kits, Diamond Art, Lego Sets, Air Dry Clay kits and more. I tend to buy these types of gifts from The Works, Home Bargains or Amazon.

LUSH Intergalatic Bath Bomb RRP £6 // Kitsch Satin Heatless Curling Set RRP £19.99 // Next Set of 6 Mini Perfumes Discovery Set RRP £14

I also think gifting either a gift set or a product or two from LUSH always goes down well. There are obviously lots to choose from including bath bombs, shower gels, face masks and more. My favourite products from LUSH that I always recommended are the Big Blue Bath Bomb RRP £4.50, Intergalactic Bath Bomb RRP £6, Mask of Magnaminty Face Mask RRP £10 and Rose Jam Shower Gel RRP £9.

The Kitsch Satin Heatless Curling Set RRP £19.99 is a great way to style hair without causing any heat damage. The satin version helps to prevent frizziness and is more comfortable to wear too.

The Next Set of 6 Mini Perfumes Discovery Gift Set RRP £14 is a good way to try multiple fragrances and they’re also a handy size to pop in your everyday bag. Next fragrance scents also tend to be long-lasting.
